Film Archivist, author and historian Rob Stone wowed the audience at Cinecon 58 with a screening of a dozen rare silent comedies by the short-lived VIM Film co. from circa 1912. Besides featuring two comedians known as Poke N Jabb, he also offered a VIM film featuring Oliver “Babe” Hardy –years before he would team up with Stan Laurel! Manny Pacheco interviewed Rob to get the whole story. You’ll enjoy Rob’s perspective and the short clips of films included here. All film footage is in common domain and used with permission of Split Reel LLC
